The World Bank Legal Vice Presidency and the Legal Internship Program are pleased to announce the opening of the application process for the 2025-26 Legal Internship Program in Washington, D.C.
The Legal Internship Program is a 10-week summer program that provides law students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international law and development. Interns will work on a variety of legal issues, including international dispute resolution, project finance, and human rights.
Interns will also have the opportunity to attend lectures and seminars by World Bank staff and external experts. They will also participate in a variety of networking events and social activities.
**Eligibility**
To be eligible for the Legal Internship Program, you must be:
* A current law student in good academic standing
* A citizen of a World Bank member country
* Proficient in English
**Benefits**
Interns will receive a competitive stipend, housing allowance, and travel expenses. They will also have access to the World Bank’s extensive library and research facilities.
